Distribution inside the region is relatively even: Vancouver (1,712), Richmond (708) and Victoria (510) hold 20% of everything between them. The remaining 678 places average 4.3 venues each — a long tail of small settlements that we list on the nearest town page rather than give an empty page to.

The regional split runs 84% eating to 26% accommodation, against a national 81/19. That is close to the national balance.
