> Every café, restaurant, hotel and motel in New Zealand. 17,658 venues across 17 regions and 1482 named towns, derived from OpenStreetMap and public registers. No paid listings, no ratings or reviews of our own.

## Structure

- /eat/ and /stay/ — national indexes by category and region
- /regions/ and /region/<slug>/ — all 17 regions, ranked, with per-region analysis
- /in/<town>/ — the 192 towns and suburbs with at least 20 venues
- /in/<town>/<category>/ — where a single category has at least 40 venues
- /venue/<slug>/ — venues with at least 6 recorded attributes and opening hours
- /methodology/ — how pages are built and what the numbers do not mean
- /data/ — the merged extract, offered back under ODbL

## What is deliberately absent

- No ratings or reviews: we hold none, and none are inferred or generated.
- No aggregateRating in structured data, for the same reason.
- No paid listings, paid placement or paid ranking.
- No data from Google Places, TripAdvisor, Yelp, Zomato or booking sites — their terms forbid it.
- A blank attribute means unrecorded, never known-absent.
